NOTE: If you wish to chaperone any of our events, you must not only be a registered volunteer (and probably Level II) as detailed below, but you also should be familiar with our travel guidelines from the handbook.

We DO need to have EVERY volunteer register with Pinellas County Schools. To that, you simply go to the link above and follow the directions; it takes just a few minutes.
If you ever wish to do volunteering that may put you in a situation where you are alone with scholars unsupervised (for instance, if you are driving some to an event, or chaperoning an overnight trip), then you also need to get Level II clearance, which involves getting fingerprinted…click here for Level II fingerprinting procedures. Level II clearance is good for five years. If you already have gone through a Level II background check for something else, contact Largo High’s Community Liaison; in many cases documentation exists that shows your Level II expiration date that can be applied to your records within the school system.
