EVERYONE enrolled in a Band or Orchestra class must participate in the class solo & ensemble project: Click here for details concerning the project.
Members MAY choose to complete the project requirements by participating in the appropriate FBA or FOA district solo & ensemble Music Performance Assessment. Click here for details concerning that event.
In order to enter either FBA or FOA districts, complete this form and turn it in to Mr. Benoit together with the assessment fee by the deadline indicated on the form (you can either print the form or get a hard copy from him). Your entry fee for districts will be refunded after you perform (this is only true for district, not for state).
COLOR GUARD members – get details on the rules for solo & ensemble from Ms. Hicks, then use the same entry form as the band and orchestra members (indicate what type of event you are doing, e.g. “rifle solo”, “dance solo”, etc.) The fees are the same, and you get refunds for district, but not state. TURN FORMS AND FEES IN TO MR. BENOIT, NOT MS. HICKS. When you are working on your event, be SURE that you are following the timing requirements.
