Thursday, December 14 – rehearsal 2:45 pm – 4:15 pm
Saturday, December 16
This will be in full uniform except no shakos; appropriate holiday decorations are acceptable and encouraged (including Santa hats). Guard will be passing out candy – please work out what you will wear (either uniform is ok or you can come up with something else). Front ensemble covers cymbals and the banner. Music is “The Christmas Parade.”
Itinerary for the day:
9:30 am – Band Room Open (Decorating instruments is absolutely allowed!)
10:45 am – Depart for Parade Line-up (walking)
11:00 am – Arrive at parade (1st Ave. South & 4th St. SW). Warm-up, set line-up, run sequence
12:00 noon – Parade steps off
The parade goes south on 4th St., then turns twice and comes back north. We will be very near the front of the parade.
We should be back to the band room by about 1:00 pm.
