This will be in full uniform; appropriate holiday decorations are acceptable and encouraged (including Santa hats). Front ensemble covers cymbals and the banner; color guard passes out candy. Music is “The Christmas Parade.” It’s been a while since we rehearsed, but nothing about the performance has changed since then.
Mr. Joel Heller will be the band director for the day (Mr. Benoit will be out of town at a wedding).
Itinerary for the day:
10:00 am – Band Room Open
10:45 am – Depart for Parade Line-up (walking)
11:00 am – Arrive at parade (1st Ave. South & 4th St. SW). Warm-up, set line-up, run sequence
12:00 noon – Parade steps off
The parade goes south on 4th St., then turns and comes back north on 2nd St. We will be very near the front of the parade.
We should be back to the band room by about 1:00 pm.
